Integrated Defense Course, with optional 2nd Shoot House Intensive Day

It’s easy to find information on anything these days. Finding the right information however is difficult. The word “expert” is thrown around liberally and often. In many cases we see techniques being taught that could give students a false sense of security and could get them badly injured or even worse. Proper utilization of a firearm or defending yourself with hand to hand techniques can prove to be difficult. Having the wrong information or not having sufficient or proper practice can render devastating consequences. Argus Integrated Defense aims to not only deliver the optimal information but raise the industry standards with a professional and experienced approach. Another key objective is to demonstrate how both firearms and martial arts are intrinsically linked. Common principles are taught and we strive to deliver simple, efficient and highly effective techniques that will change the way you think about and approach self-defense.

This is open to all skill levels.  You do not need to have prior martial arts or firearms experience.  This course is for anyone that would like to learn to be better able to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

• Holster and gear recommendations and reviews
• Draws from concealment, vehicle, & disadvantaged positions
• Vehicle Combat - Prepping gear and clothing for draw and/or exit Preventing assailant from extracting individual from their vehicle
• Control of Assailant & Firearms Work - Grappling for weapon retention and draw Grappling to disarm subject Body lock defense when carrying concealed Safe and effective takedowns Safe and effective subject control on ground, standing, and against barrier Restraining on ground, standing, and against barrier Defense against more than one aggressor 
• Shoot / No Shoot Scenario intros in the shoot house

Day Two:

• Additional work and drilling on Day One skills
• Vehicle Work - Prepping gear and clothing for draw and/or exit Preventing assailant from extracting individual from their vehicle
• Extensive day of in depth shoot house and vehicle marking rounds scenario training

Bring a water bottle and any snacks you would like.  We will have a lunch break each day.  Nearby our facility is a Starbucks, Subway, Wingstop, and Costco.  You are welcome to bring your lunch and keep it in our fridge.

Wear your typical everyday clothing and a belt that can support a holster.  You are welcome to bring your own holster if it is Glock 17 compatible.  For shoot house scenario work, you will also need long, layered clothing such as hoodie and jeans or sweats, and mechanic or tactical style gloves.   Neck and groin protection, helmets, holsters, Glock 17T pistols, and marking rounds ammo will be provided.
